Addition

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder -  Children exposed to alcohol before birth were treated with Neurofeedback sessions. Five sessions showed an increase in calmness, mood, motivation, and sleep.

ADHD & Anxiety (including ODD)

College students with ADHD and anxiety were treated with Neurofeedback sessions. Results showed significant improvements in scores related to inattention, hyperactivity, self-concept, depression, anxiety, and academic self-efficacy.

Alzheimer's

Neurofeedback significantly improved Alzheimer's patients scores on the Ekman 60 faces Test within only 6 sessions, while functional improvement was reported by the spouses. Also, the anxiety feature of the caregiving spouses was decreased significantly.

Depression & Anxiety

45,000 Neurofeedback sessions were provided to hundreds of patients; 8 sessions each. On average, depression scores dropped from 32 to 23, and anxiety scores dropped from 32 to 21, all on Beck scales.

Autism

These results are consistent with those of Zivoder, Martic-Biocina, Kosic & Bosak (2015) in their study of Neurofeedback training for ASD youth, in which they reported changes in behavior including less aggression, increased cooperation and communication, and improved attention span and sensory motor skills.  All subjects in their study accomplished a certain degree of improvement in their level of daily functioning.

PTSD & Veterans 

Four case studies of Veterans with PTSD. Astounding results in as little as 10 sessions. Some of the results included: better sleep, more positive moods, felt calmer and happier, quit drinking, more comfortable talking, more interest in life and higher energy levels, less anxious feelings, and so much more.

Sleep Disorders - Insomnia 

NeurOptimal training improves adherence to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy sleep strategies, reduces physiological arousal, and improves sleep.

Stress

Among employees with above average perceived stress levels prior to study, stress and personal burnout scores were significantly reduced by NeurOptimal® brain training. These improvements were maintained 6 months post training.

Patients with traumatic brain injuries were offered sessions of Neurofeedback and saw significant improvement in the areas of memory, cognitive processing, sleep, and more.
